Northwest Florida's Champion of Cultural Arts and Arts Education for All
Since 1995, the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) has been committed to cultivating and nurturing a deep appreciation of the arts in residents and visitors along the breathtaking Emerald Coast. Named in honor of Destin matriarch and benefactor, Mattie Kelly, MKAF has grown over the past two decades to include community outreach serving k-12 students, youth and adults with special needs, and the wounded warrior population along with an extensive calendar of concerts, performances and other events celebrating a wide variety of artistic pursuits.
Simply put, we believe art builds strong communities, soothes the spirit and enriches lives. We invite you to attend one of our many popular events held throughout the year, and to join us in our mission. Donors, members, sponsors and volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization.
We invite you to join our arts family and take advantage of our varied offerings that will ignite your imagination and excite your spirit.
The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) is an independently operated 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. MKAF is not affiliated with the Mattie Kelly Arts Center located at Northwest Florida State College, but enjoys a strong partnership in supporting the arts and bringing diverse cultural offerings to Northwest Florida.
